Ideas that Matter
More than a decade ago, Sappi Fine Paper North America established the Ideas that Matter grant program to recognize and support designers who generously donate their time and talent to a wide range of charitable activities. To this day, Ideas that Matter remains the only grant program of its kind in the industry. Since 1999, Ideas that Matter has funded over 500 nonprofit projects, contributing $12 million worldwide to causes that enhance our lives, our communities and our planet. Sappi believes that the creative ideas of designers can have an impact beyond the aesthetic and that those ideas can be a powerful force for social good. Working together with our customers, we aim to make a difference.
Printer of the Year
Sappi's Printer of the Year awards are regarded as the world's most respected accolade of excellence in printed communications. Gold winners in each category — the best of the best — will receive up to $20,000 in design support of the printer's marketing and brand initiatives. Through the Printer of the Year online database, we are connecting designers, corporations and print buyers to the best printers in the country.
Life with Print
Despite all predictions that the 21st century would see print eclipsed by electronic media, it continues to play an essential role in our everyday lives and is more powerful than ever. To share our enthusiasm for the bright future of paper with our customers, Sappi Europe has created the highly regarded, informative series, Life With Print. Each edition of Life With Print is packed with qualitative examples of the value of print in the media mix. The series also highlights experts and companies throughout the world who share Sappi's passion for print.
